Dominio has possibly Amsterdam’s largest selection of vintage cufflinks dating from as far back as the 1890's up until the 1980's. The impressive collection includes over 180 different pairs of cufflinks from the very sophisticated to the omnipresent designs of the 1970's. The cufflinks are typically made from beautiful materials such as gold, silver, ebony, mother of pearl, tiger’s eye and onyx.
Each pair of vintage cufflinks is wonderfully crafted by both unknown craftsmen and well-known artists such as modernist designer Karl Schibensky and Fish design from Germany and Jenssen from Denmark. Cufflinks date from as far back as the 17th century when men desired something more elegant for their shirts than ribbons or ties to hold together their cuffs. The first cufflink consisted of a small chain fastened to the end of a gold or silver button and fed through the holes of the cuff to keep it together. Over time, the cufflink became a more sophisticated part of a man's wardrobe, especially when accompanying a tuxedo and/or formal attire. Using varying types of stone, precious metals, fabrics and design, the cufflink gradually became an essential part of the modern man's wardrobe.

The International Vintage Collectors Fair (known locally as the VerzamelaarsJaarbeurs), is held twice yearly at the Jaarbeurs Convention Centre in Utrecht.

These highly unusual unique vintage cushions make a great gift idea.
The second hand markets of Europe were the inspiration for Jessica Padt to begin creating her sought after vintage cushions. It was at these markets that she first found the beautiful embroidered vintage fabrics which provide the centrepiece around which her vintage cushions are built. The embroidery is always done by hand generally by an unknown master of this ancient art.
The end product is a unique vintage cushion, usually down-filled, and each one is finished to the highest quality standards. The cushions generally measure 50cm x 50cm and are all hand produced by Jessica in her atelier in Amsterdam’s Jordaan.

A Dutch design classic, the TC-6 table lamp was originally designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar in the late sixties. Vintage Home is now offering the 4th and final production of the TC-6 series. The lamp is made from left-over stock of original pieces that was still stored in the designer's basement.
