Laloli Sieraden, located in the heart
of Amsterdam's old Jewish quarter - Grimburgwal, offers a very original range
of contemporary designer jewellery, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets,
brooches and rings. Each piece is designed and handmade in Amsterdam by the award
wining van Driest sisters, renowned for their fun, funky and feminine style. Sandra,
Monique and Marianne, all goldsmiths, opened their first studio in 1985 and since
that time, have developed their own unique and innovative design approach. The
use of vibrant and striking colour combinations is one of the key characteristics
of the Laloli collections, and the Van Driest sisters have perfected the art of
combining precious and semi precious metals in their jewellery lines, allowing
greater flexibility in producing larger pieces.
If it's something a little
bit different you are after, something colourful and hip, something with a sense
of humour, Laloli is a must visit! Each passionately designed and crafted piece
comes literally with its own personality.
Alternatively, if you are looking
for something more classical, such as a bespoke wedding ring or a gift for a new
born baby, drop in to Laloli for a consultation. Alongside their new collections,
the sisters remain faithful to their goldsmith craft and continue to produce classical
bespoke pieces.
In addition to the shop on the Grimburgwal, there is a second
Laloli shop cum atelier on Amsterdam's Kinkerstraat, where the Laloli jewellery
lines are produced.Visit the Grimburgwal or the Kinkerstraat to experience
for yourself exactly why the Laloli collections continue to be hugely popular
and attract an ever growing following.
