Marie José van den Boom, Dutch shoe designer, created her own Square Feet shoe label only a few years ago. In that short time, the Square Feet label has gained a loyal following of devotees who love the originality, colour and comfort of Square Feet footwear.

Designed by Marie Jose in Amsterdam, the shoes are made in small quantities to a very high standard by artisan craftsmen in Central Spain. Only the best soft leather is used.

The women’s shoe collection is made by experts who specialise in ladies shoes. Perhaps this explains the excellent fit and high level of comfort. The shoes are made strictly to order, so that the collections always reflect the latest seasonal colours. This is crucial as Square Feet brand is now becoming well known for its vibrant colours, which wonderfully offset the bold and glamorous ‘Tango’ style design.

Similarly, the mens’ collection is produced by mens’ shoe specialist, and is notable for the striking designs and special finish. Using calf’s leather and special printing techniques, patterns such as lizard, snake and crocodile skin are imposed on the leather. The men’s collection comes in a range of subtle yet masculine colours from white to dark brown to green.

New shoe collections are produced twice a year with colour and material variations and updates through out the season.
