Now, in the bustling old centre of Amsterdam, you can experience for yourself the taste of this exceptional artisan cheese. Cheese tasting workshops and courses are now on offer throughout the day at the stylish Reypenaer Tasting Rooms, located on Amsterdam’s charming Singel canal. You can also buy beautifully presented gift packs of Reypenaer to enjoy with friends and family at home. Renowned in Holland, the multi-award winning hand crafted Reypenaer cheese owes its stunning flavour to the natural maturing process, which uses ancient aging traditions. The Reypenaer voyage of discovery: Join a 45 minute cheese tasting workshop and get a fascinating insight into the craft of artisan cheese making and cheese tasting. Enjoy the story of Reypenaer, learn how the cheese is made, taste the different maturities and learn how to interpret and compare the wonderfully complex flavours. There are three types of cheese tasting workshops to choose from:
The Introductory Class – EUR 7.50 per person
The Advanced Class – with wine – EUR 10.00 per person
The Connoisseur Class – with wine and port – EUR 12.50 per person
Courses are available daily (except Tuesdays) every hour on the hour. Sunday and Monday from 12.00 – 18.00 and Wednesday to Saturday from 10.00 – 18.00 (min 6 people).
We also cater for private groups, corporate events, and private parties (max 20 people).
