Many people come to Amsterdam and visit the art galleries, viewing paintings by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Vermeer and the many other famous Dutch artists that have made The Netherlands one of the art capitals of the world.
For those who are also interested to come to Amsterdam to paint or draw and to study art, we have a couple of great contacts for you to join art classes, workshops or painting courses and drawing lessons. Both take beginners to advanced level, it is for you to decide which style of learning suits you…
The Jordaan area was traditionally an artisan area, where painters would work from their studios and ateliers. Atelier Molenpad is located on the central canal belt, on the Prinsengracht canal and very close to the Nine Streets and the Jordaan area of the city.
Specialising in intuitive painting and drawing classes, Daniella Rubinovitz allows you to move at your own pace. Self expression is emphasised in both figurative and abstract works. Atelier Molenpad has been a centre for movement and expression for over 36 years.
You can join the single workshop on 6th September 2012 – an evening course offering a 3 hour intuitive painting retreat.
You can also join the new season’s course which runs weekly for seven months starting on September 24th and runs until April 26th 2013 – view this Atelier Molenpad link for more details and booking information.
