Qiangli Liang (born 1964) is internationally recognised as an important artist of the New Dutch Realism School, built around a contemporary take on the ancient still life genre. Amsterdam has not seen new works from this master of modern still life painting for some time and a sense of excitment is quietly building. Come Saturday, Qiangli Liang is sure to delight once again with this important solo exhibition of his new works, exclusively on show at Amsterdam’s Galerie Mokum.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 7th September to 6th October 2013.
The official opening is on Saturday 7th September 16.00 to 18.00 by Prof. Dr. Ruud Lapré, who will open the exhibition by presenting the new book on this gifted artist, entitled ‘Qiangli Liang-Symbolen van Verstilling’ (‘Qiangli Liang-Symbols of Stillness’). All are welcome!
