During the action-packed week, there will be numerous events taking place throughout the city. Don't miss your chance to view latest collections, film screenings and exhibitions - over 80 events in total!
Downtown is open to the public throughout AIFW - and this Summer the theme is FASHION, SUSTAINABILITY and DENIM.
Selected galleries, museums, cinemas, shops and clubs throughout the city will participate offering fashion-related events & inspiration, a shop-window competition, presentations and parties.
Public Program: As part of AIFW, there is a sizable public program, which is open to everyone. Selected independent shops, galleries and clubs throughout Amsterdam will take part in Fashion Week DOWNTOWN, with lots going to and lots to do and see. Expect Expositions, shows, amazing front displays and parties.
Also particpating in Downtown are denim concept stores Denham and Tenue de Nîmes as well as Vintage Glamour Store Laura Dols.
And in line with the Sustainability theme, Amsterdam's own green design store, de Winkel van Guus.

Also based in the Nine Streets, home couture specialist Ethnic Chic has its very own 'Vintage Chic' collection. Styled from original pure silk Japanese vintage kimonos, restyled into special cushions throws and rolls, all by Dutch designer Carolina Breuer.
