ACNE or ‘Ambition to Create Novel Expressions’ is a concept based on the philosophy of Scandinavian design - simple, functional and with lots of attitude! The clean-cut label is characterised by its use of raw denim and its bright red stitching.

ACNE Jeans were born in 1997 when a creative collective based in Sweden designed 100 pairs of jeans from raw denim, intended as gifts for family, friends and clients. The jeans proved to be a huge hit and before long, stores and boutiques began to actively request collections to carry on their shelves. The mini-cult-brand continued to grow and in 2003, ACNE Jeans opened its first store in Stockholm.

Today, ACNE jeans for men and women are sold internationally from New York to London, to Antwerp to Amsterdam.
